A clothing display rack program delivered in Canada in 2020, for a menswear brand fitting out a champagne-and-oak store. The brief called for a champagne-frame lounge program — brushed gold frames in open bays, light-oak tiers and plinths, a soft lounge corner in burnt orange — all fitted whole-store from our Guangzhou workshop. Roughly eighty to one hundred and twenty square metres.
The plan sets the rack bays as the room’s spine: open frames in brushed champagne gold, glass shelves over hanging rails, backlit panels washing each bay in light. Central islands run double-sided with endcaps; a stepped table of oak tiers carries folded knits; mannequin plinths in pale timber guard the window line, and a grid of gold niches on the side wall takes shoes and small leather goods.
Merchandising splits by garment. Suits and outerwear hang face-out on the wall rails at eye height; polos and shirts run in colour-graded runs across the islands; folded pieces stack on the stepped tiers. The clothes display stand groupings near the window rotate seasonal looks on mannequins, while the apparel display case islands keep belts, wallets and gift boxes within reach of the lounge.
Materials hold the champagne-and-oak scheme: brushed-gold steel frames, light-oak veneer tiers, white stone tops on the counter and lounge table, burnt-orange upholstery on the lounge chairs. Lighting runs three ways — track spots down the rack lines, backlit panels behind each bay, warm strips beneath the plinths — so garment colours read true from the door.
Delivery followed the factory route in 2020: frames welded and brushed, veneers pressed, lightboxes wired before packing. The store fitted out in a single visit, built to the rendered drawings the brand approved. Sample in seven to ten days, production in thirty to forty-five, shipped assembled from Guangzhou.
