Cbd Display Case

A cbd display case project completed for a Canadian retailer in 2022, built as a freestanding glass counter island with a matching wall panel behind it. The store layout had no back-of-house depth, so every fixture had to earn its floor space and hold stock as well as show it.

The island is a black plinth with a white carcass and a black-framed glass top, cut with an angled return so the case reads lighter than its footprint. Inside, three glass tiers step back on adjustable brackets, and the base carries lockable drawers for boxed stock — display on top, storage underneath, one object on the floor.

The wall panel behind uses the same black frame profile around open niches, with product boxes set in a strict grid. Between the island and the wall there is a clear walking lane, which is what makes a small store feel merchandised rather than crowded.

Material discipline again: black carcass, matte white decks, clear glass, black edge banding. The only variation is the drawer pull, which is brushed rather than coated so it picks up the room light.

Delivery followed factory practice — approved drawings, sample sign-off, custom casework in thirty to forty-five days, and flat-packed shipping from Guangzhou. A spare glass pane and a set of drawer slides were included at handover.
