Vape Display Stand

A vape display stand programme supplied to a Canadian retailer in 2021 as a set of modular gondola units rather than a fixed wall. The store was expanding in stages, so the fixtures had to be reconfigurable without a second order.

Each unit is a white carcass with black shelf decks and a stepped black side panel, on a levelling foot so a run can be aligned across an uneven floor. Units are designed to bolt together end to end, which lets the retailer build a two-metre bay today and a ten-metre run later from the same part set.

Tops are capped in black with a low rail, so the silhouette stays level whatever the unit count. Shelves are pinned and interchangeable between units, which is the practical benefit of a modular system over a bespoke wall.

The colour scheme is two-tone by design — white body, black decks — because that is the cheapest way to give a modular system a designed look without a bespoke paint schedule.

Production was straightforward: approved drawings, one sample unit signed off, production in thirty to forty-five days, and flat-packed shipping from Guangzhou. Spare shelf decks and feet shipped with the order so the retailer could extend without a lead time.
