Vape Kiosk

A vape kiosk delivered to a retailer in the Philippines in 2024, built as a freestanding island counter with a fluted green front and a solid surface top. The site is a mall unit with a slatted timber ceiling, so the kiosk had to hold its own against a busy overhead instead of disappearing into it.

The island is a curved rectangle: a fluted green front panel wrapped around a white carcass, a solid surface work top, and three stools on the customer side. The fluting is cut on a CNC and assembled as a skin, which keeps the curve tight without panel joints.

Behind the island, open black metal shelving holds stock in a loose grid, and a wall-mounted screen carries the category message. The shelving is deliberately open rather than glazed so the kiosk does not read as a second counter.

The material logic is simple: one saturated colour on the front, white everywhere else, black metal for the open frames, warm timber overhead left to the landlord. That is why the unit photographs well from the mall walkway.

Factory sequence was standard: drawings approved, sample of the fluted skin signed, production in thirty to forty-five days, shipped in flat pack from Guangzhou with a site assembly plan and a spare flute section.
