Vape Display Counter

A vape display counter delivered to a retailer in the United States in 2024, set against a black slatwall back panel and finished with a green LED toe-kick. The store had an existing slatwall and wanted a counter that would read as part of the wall rather than an object in front of it.

The counter is a curved glass case on a white carcass, with the curve running the full length of the run so the aisle edge never presents a corner. Glass shelves inside are set on adjustable pins, and the deck is lit from a concealed strip under the top rail so product at the back of the case is still legible.

The toe-kick is the one deliberate colour move: a green LED line set back under the plinth, which lifts the case off the floor and gives the run a continuous base without a visible kerb. It also hides the cable route, which is the practical reason the detail exists.

Against the slatwall, the white carcass and black frame give a hard edge that the slatwall’s horizontal lines do not fight. This is the value of specifying the counter after the wall is measured rather than before.

Production followed the usual path — approved drawings, sample, custom casework in thirty to forty-five days, flat-packed from Guangzhou, and a spare shelf set supplied with the order.
