Clothing Display Case

A clothing display case program delivered in the USA in 2023, for an outerwear boutique fitting out a twin-zone flagship. The brief called for a vitrine-and-arch twin program — a mirrored gallery of backlit glass vitrines up front, a warm aisle of timber-arch cabins behind — all fitted whole-store from our Guangzhou workshop. Roughly one hundred fifty to two hundred square metres over two levels.

The plan splits the store in two. The gallery zone runs floor-to-ceiling vitrine walls in slim dark frames, white backlit panels behind every shelf, herringbone parquet underfoot and mirror panels doubling the ceiling height; a curved central vitrine takes the aisle’s end. The cabin zone behind runs light-timber arches in a row, each arch a bay of shelves over hanging rails, with mannequins on timber plinths down the middle.

Merchandising splits by value. Outerwear hangs face-out inside the arch bays for touch and try; shoes, bags and small leather goods sit in the backlit clothing display case walls, one piece per lit niche; folded knits stack on the cabin shelves. Each glass clothing display case runs a single warm spot per shelf, so accessories read like gallery pieces.

Materials hold the two-zone scheme: smoked-glass vitrine doors and dark metal frames against honey-toned timber arches, cream upholstery on the lounge chairs, brass trims at the counters. Lighting splits the same way — cool white spots down the gallery, warm strips inside every cabin bay — so the store reads bright and cold at the door, warm and quiet at the back.

Delivery followed the factory route in 2023: vitrine glass bedded and wired, arches cut and joined, panels veneered before packing. The store fitted out in a single visit. Sample in seven to ten days, production in thirty to forty-five, shipped assembled from Guangzhou.
