eyeglasses display case
Resumen del Proyecto
An eyeglasses display case program delivered in China in 2025, for a boutique label fitting a quiet-luxury store in a mall. The brief called for a lit-back gallery program — walnut frames, white back-lit panels, a glass-dome island, brass drawers — all built to the rendered drawings from our Guangzhou workshop. Roughly fifty to eighty square metres of floor.
The plan keeps the room enclosed and low-lit. Glass-dome islands stand mid-floor with trays inside; lit-back towers run the side walls, shelves and drawers stacked floor to ceiling; a niche of inset shelves breaks the run near the window; an arc-front service desk and an oval try-on table close the rear. Round mirrors and a wall-mounted eyewear display cabinet bay hold the fitting corner.
Merchandising runs sparse on purpose. Frames lie flat along the eyeglasses display case shelves, a few to a tier with room between them; the glass dome keeps the designer lines under lock with trays in felt; drawers file stock by series. An eyeglasses display stand of risers and props stages the seasonal picks on the island top, and boxed gift sets stack by the desk.
Materials hold the warm line: walnut veneer, white stone tops, brushed-brass pulls and trims, glass set on brass. Lighting runs warm white throughout — LED strips behind every back panel, under every shelf — with the room kept dim so the lit cases carry the eye; an arm lamp over the eyewear display cabinet column picks the hero tiers.
Delivery followed the factory route in 2025: frames cut, panels sprayed, glass bedded and lights wired before packing. The store fitted out in staged visits. Sample in seven to ten days, production in thirty to forty-five, shipped from Guangzhou.
