Comptoir d'exposition de smartphones

This smartphone display counter project was built for a phone kiosk in a shopping mall in Mexico in 2022. The operator wanted the unit to appeal to a younger, tech-led customer: a graphic, high-contrast front that photographed well, glass counters that let handsets be picked up and compared, and a service point that stayed clear of the browse zone.

The kiosk was built from two 2.4 m glass counter runs with three shelf rows each, two illuminated towers with internal glass shelves, two blue circuit-board graphic lightbox panels on the outer faces, and a blue LED plinth under both runs.

The design uses the circuit-board graphics as the brand signature rather than a logo wall: the two lightbox panels sit on the outside faces where they catch foot traffic, while the inner faces stay white so the handsets read cleanly. Shelves are set at 300 mm pitch with the top row at 1.2 m, keeping every device within reach, and the towers carry the newest models at eye level. The two runs face each other across a narrow service aisle, so one staff member can serve both sides without walking around the kiosk.

The kiosk ships knocked down with glass, shelf brackets, lightbox panels and LED strips numbered; site work is levelling the bases, joining the two runs, fitting the towers, and connecting the panel and plinth lighting to separate circuits. The unit stands on ballasted feet so it can be moved when the mall re-plans the concourse, and all shelves are removable for resetting the display. The lightbox panels are shipped face-protected and fitted after the frames are joined, and every tower is braced internally so it stays square when the kiosk is moved across the concourse, with the glass carried separately to protect the panels.

Customization includes counter length, shelf pitch, graphic artwork, lightbox size, tower height and LED colour.
