Sunglass Display

A sunglass display program delivered in China in 2023, for an eyewear label fitting an open-front store in a mall. The brief called for an arc-wall eyewear program — a curved shelving wall in gunmetal, light-timber trial tables, white mesh towers — all built whole-store from our Guangzhou workshop. Roughly sixty to ninety square metres of floor.

The plan keeps the front open to the corridor. Light-timber trial tables carry the centre, trays of optical frames laid flat for the taking; the arc wall runs one side pole by pole; white mesh towers and a pegboard stand hold the rear. A mirrored ceiling panel with a lit round picture drops over the entry court, and a glasses display case counter with a glass-walled exam room closes the back.

Merchandising splits by style. Sunglass display runs the arc wall face-out, each frame before its own portrait card; optical frames fill the island trays by series, one corner marked for kids; accessories hang the pegboard in wire tiers. A round rotating sunglass display stand turns at the door for new lines, and lit mirrors ring the try-on court.

Materials hold the light scheme: pale timber, white lacquer, gunmetal shelving, grey-terrazzo floor. Lighting runs cool-neutral throughout — LED strips under every shelf, track heads over the tables, ring light at the mirrors — so frames read true and faces read even.

Delivery followed the factory route in 2023: shelves cut, poles welded, tables finished before packing. The store fitted out in staged visits. Sample in seven to ten days, production in thirty to forty-five, shipped from Guangzhou.
