Retail Store Design Company

This project shows what a retail store design company actually delivers: not just cabinets, but the storefront and the interior read as one brand. The brief was a chocolate boutique in France, and the result is a cream stone facade with arched walnut-framed doors and striped awnings that pull customers in from the street.

Our scope ran from facade panels and shopfront joinery to the interior fixture set — the arched entrance frame with glazed double doors, the two flanking display windows, the counter-height glass cases, wall shelving behind the service line, and the lighting plan that keeps the interior warm after dusk.

Materials were chosen for a heritage street context without copying it: light cream stone-look cladding, dark walnut frames and mullions, black-and-white striped awning fabric, aged brass handles, and ribbed glass that softens the interior view from outside. Inside, the palette drops to warm neutrals so the chocolate packaging carries the colour.

Facade work has its own constraints, so the design keeps sightlines and compliance in mind: the arched openings match the existing structural rhythm, the awning arms fold back for cleaning, panel joints are set away from eye level, and all external finishes are specified for weather exposure. Interior cases sit on levelling feet and use rear doors so restocking never happens in front of customers.
