Retail Shop Interior Design
Aperçu du projet
This travel-retail shop interior design project was developed for a cultural souvenir and specialty-goods brand operating within a major transportation hub in Asia. The brief called for a space that could communicate regional identity while accommodating a mixed-product catalog spanning packaged foods, plush toys, and travel accessories.
The estimated 150–250 sqm concourse island was delivered as a **whole-store solution**—from the sculptural entry installation and continuous display cabinetry to the integrated lighting and checkout counter. Every fixture was dimensioned to the hub’s concourse plan and engineered for high-traffic durability.
Key custom elements include a large-scale branded sculpture at the entry that functions as both a photo landmark and wayfinding beacon; a unified pale-wood and warm-white cabinet system that connects food-display shelves, pegboard accessory walls, and gift-box islands into one visual language; and an arched ceiling frame that mirrors the architectural rhythm of the host concourse.
The layout was organized around three customer behaviors: browse-and-pick for packaged snacks at open-lit shelves, pause-and-compare for plush and keychain items on pegboard walls, and impulse-grab for boxed gift sets at the checkout island. Warm yellow flooring zones subtly guide the circulation path while ivory-white surfaces keep the product colors dominant.
As a factory-direct provider, we handled the full documentation, material sourcing, custom molding for the sculpture, and modular cabinet production under one workflow—ensuring that a mixed-category travel retail concept could launch on a unified timeline without coordinating multiple vendors.
