Curved Display Cabinet

A curved display cabinet program delivered in China in 2026, for a gold retailer selling bridal and gifting lines. The brief called for a Chinese gold room in the imperial red-and-gold idiom — curved counters in brushed gold, red panels with cloud motifs, a suspended ceiling echoing traditional bracket sets — with trays colour-coded so customers read each line at a glance. Roughly one hundred and forty square metres, fitted whole-store from our Guangzhou workshop as a curved-counter imperial gold program.

The plan runs curved counters through the middle of the room in a loose loop, with gold-framed glass cabinets along the walls and red-backlit niches holding bust displays for necklaces. The curved fronts slow the walk and give every counter face a sightline from the door; a domed ceiling with a light ring marks the hero corner. Cream chairs sit inside the loop for tray service.

Merchandising runs on two tray colours. Gold chains, bangles and pendants sit on blue-grey velvet trays, dense and bright; bridal sets take the red-pink trays at the counter ends, two or three pieces per position. Each gold glass display cabinet locks with front-access keys, and sliding glass lets staff serve both sides of a run without walking around it.

Materials carry the gold-and-red scheme throughout: brushed gold metal on frames, textured gold wall panels, grey marble floors, and red panels carrying cloud and wave motifs. A bi-disc relief marks the entry column, and the suspended ceiling repeats bracket-set forms at two heights. Case lighting runs at 4000K against a 3000K room, so trays read brighter than the store around them — the same contrast a luxury display cabinet uses to hold attention without glare.

Delivery followed the factory route in 2026: bases cut and laminated, curved frames rolled and welded, glass bedded and locks fitted before packing. The store fitted out in a single visit, with mall contractors closing floor and ceiling works. Sample in seven to ten days, production in thirty to forty-five, shipped assembled from Guangzhou.
