Luxury Jewelry Store Interior Design

A luxury jewelry store interior design project delivered in the USA in 2021, for a fine-jewelry retailer opening a boutique on a single trading level. The commission ran as a whole-store programme: every fixed element on the floor — the wall panel system, the island display table, the suspended brass display towers, the glass block partition and the private viewing lounge — was designed, factory-built and shipped install-ready to one specification. The floor plate runs roughly 180 to 220 square metres.

Entry is framed by white lacquer wall panels carrying slim brass inlay lines, with a jewelry showcase island set on the centre line so the shop reads in one pass from the door. A glass block partition wall divides the main floor from the rear without closing it off, a classical plaster bust standing on a brass-trimmed ledge as the pivot point. Two suspended display towers hang on slim brass frames, their vitrine boxes brought down to eye level, and the back of the plan opens into a curved sofa lounge for private viewing.

Materials hold to a narrow, bright palette: white lacquer panels with brass inlay on every wall face, a white marble base under the island display table, brass-framed glass vitrines with velvet-lined trays, textured glass block for the partition, dark wood veneer on the door and one accent wall, low-iron tempered glass and mirror back panels that double the reflections inside each case, all over grey carpet tile laid in a running pattern. Metalwork is finished in warm brushed brass throughout, so the display hardware, the panel trim and the door hardware read as one family.

Merchandising runs on three levels: suspended wall vitrines for brand storytelling and necklaces, the island display table for close inspection under glass, and counter-top display domes for single high-value pieces. Lighting is layered museum-style — warm ambient downlights on a tight ceiling grid, dedicated CRI 90+ LED strips inside every display case, concealed cove lighting washing the lacquer panels, and local accent spots on the wall towers — so stone and metal colour read true under glass without glare across the counter tops. High-value pieces sit in lockable trays and are opened by staff on request.

Production followed standard factory discipline: shop drawings approved before cutting, a pre-production sample in seven to ten days, custom casework in thirty to forty-five days, then delivery flat-packed or fully assembled from our Guangzhou factory. Spare parts, repair guidance and reorder support continue after handover, so any later phase of the store can be matched to the same specification.
