Jewelry Store Fit Out

A jewelry store fit out delivered in the UAE in 2023, for a fine-jewelry retailer taking a single trading level. The commission ran as a complete fit-out programme: the full-height wall display cabinet system, the freestanding island counters, the cash and wrapping counters and all the metalwork were designed, factory-built and shipped install-ready to one specification. The floor plate runs roughly 200 to 250 square metres.

The plan is organised on two moves. A continuous run of radius-corner wall display cabinets wraps the perimeter, each bay carrying five LED-lit glass shelves behind a rose gold frame so the whole wall reads as one system from the entrance. Against it sits a cluster of freestanding island counters — a mix of round and rectangular units in white lacquer with rose gold edge banding and slim vertical metal cages on the round tops — laid out to keep the floor open and let clients circulate between them. Mirror-clad returns at the rear visually extend the room, and the sightline from the door is held clear so the full cabinet wall reads in one pass.

Materials are held to a tight, bright palette: white lacquer on every cabinet body, counter base and wall panel; rose gold finished metal on cabinet frames, edge banding, vertical cages and counter plinths; glass shelf boards with polished edges and integrated LED strips; low-iron tempered glass for the display faces; and a polished terrazzo floor that reflects the cabinet lighting back up into the room. Hardware, framing and counter trim are all finished in the same warm metal, so the fixtures read as one family rather than a collection of separate units.

Merchandising runs on three levels: the LED wall cabinets at eye level for full collections and back-stock display, the counter tops for close inspection under glass, and the round island units for hero pieces that need to be walked around. Lighting is layered deliberately — linear LED ceiling panels for even ambient light, track spots aimed at the island counters, dedicated CRI 90+ LED strips inside every cabinet shelf, and concealed cove lighting washing the wall panels — so stone and metal colour read true under glass without glare across the counter tops. Lockable drawers sit under every counter and are opened by staff on request.

Production followed standard factory discipline: shop drawings approved before cutting, a pre-production sample in seven to ten days, custom casework in thirty to forty-five days, then delivery flat-packed or fully assembled from our Guangzhou factory. Spare parts, repair guidance and reorder support continue after handover, so later phases or additional bays can be matched to the same specification.
