Jewelry Display Cases for Retail Stores
Project Overview
Jewelry display cases for retail stores delivered as a chain-store rollout program in Asia — one design system expressed in two formats: inline mall boutiques of roughly 60 to 120 square metres, and a compact island kiosk of about twelve. Counters, column features, canopies and kiosk units were all factory-built from shared modules to one specification.
In the inline format, cream-lacquer counters with ribbed base detailing and champagne-gold frames run in racetrack formations — twelve to sixteen units per store, with curved corner transitions and back-counter service runs. Structural columns are wrapped in backlit brand panels rather than hidden, turning mall constraints into vertical brand moments. The kiosk format compresses the same language into a ring: a central display column with illuminated graphics, a wraparound counter run, and a suspended canopy that carries both lighting and brand presence while keeping the footprint at 360-degree open access.
Merchandising is built for volume gold. Every commercial jewelry display case works as a high-density tray system — illuminated wells with tiered inserts carrying gold chains and bangles at several hundred SKUs per store, presented on white pads for staff-assisted selling. A sculptural hourglass pedestal under a glass dome anchors one corner of each inline store for hero pieces.
Materials repeat a warm signature across both formats: cream lacquer with horizontal ribbing, brushed champagne-gold PVD metalwork, tempered glass, and a deep brand red reserved for column graphics and canopy accents. Case interiors light at 4000K+ against 3000K ambient — a deliberate contrast that pulls the eye from the mall corridor to the gold.
Production followed standard factory discipline: drawings approved before cutting, a pre-production sample in seven to ten days, custom casework in thirty to forty-five days, and KD or fully assembled shipping from Guangzhou, with spare parts and reorder support across the rollout.
