White Display Cabinet

A white display cabinet program delivered in China in 2016, for a mall jewelry retailer selling gold chains and coloured-stone lines. The brief called for a quiet white room — counters in white with champagne-gold trim, vertical ribbed panels on the front faces, and a back wall of two lit niches — with the whole run fitted and verified at our Guangzhou workshop before shipping. Roughly ninety to one hundred and thirty square metres, delivered whole-store as a factory-verified white program.

The plan runs parallel rows of glass-top counters through the room, each with a white base, champagne-gold frame and ribbed front panels, rounded corner columns breaking the runs at the turns. The back wall carries two tall niches holding necklace busts under single spots, with a plain lit panel between them held ready for the retailer’s own sign. A coffered ceiling with linear LED closes the room, and the floor shifts from light stone at the entry to darker veined marble across the display zone.

Merchandising keeps the white field clean. Chains and bangles sit on white trays under clear glass, dense but low; the niches hold one-off pieces on busts, opened by staff for viewing. Each white glass display cabinet locks with front-access keys, and tray service runs from the counter ends where customers stand.

Build quality was the selling point of this program. Every counter passed workshop QC before packing: frames welded and plated, ribbed panels pressed and matched, tempered glass cut with polished edges and bedded without rattle — the corner joints photographed for the client record. Protective film and timber bracing fixed the glass for the road, and the LED bases were lit and checked in the green before dispatch.

Delivery followed the factory route in 2016: sample in seven to ten days, production in thirty to forty-five, shipped assembled with the mall contractors closing floor and ceiling works on site.
