Project Overview

A lockable jewelry display case program delivered for a fine jewelry boutique in Asia, across an estimated 50 to 100 square metres including a mall concession frontage and a back-wall presentation zone. The commission ran as a turnkey boutique program: island counters, gold-framed wall cabinets, bust displays and consultation furniture were all designed, factory-built and shipped to one specification.

Every piece in the store lives behind glass. Four to six linear island counters in white lacquer with champagne-gold frames run the sales floor, each case fitted with lockable hatches, internal LED and storage below deck. At the entry, a curved-corner counter softens the approach; behind the counter line, a fluted service pedestal handles private transactions. Along the perimeter, tall and panoramic wall cabinets with deep teal backings stage the collection in lit rows — arched-top units on one wall, rectangular runs on the other, with a wide horizontal showcase anchoring the back wall.

Presentation is built around necklaces. More than a dozen white bust forms rise at staggered heights inside the cases — the necklace display case zone keeps each chain draped naturally rather than flat — while small acrylic risers carry rings and paired earring stands at customer sightline. Every necklace display bust sits at a height chosen for standing staff-assisted viewing, so the sparse, one-piece-at-a-time merchandising logic of high jewelry holds throughout.

Materials repeat one warm signature: brushed champagne-gold framing across counters and cabinets, white lacquer bases, low-iron tempered glass, and teal suede back panels that deepen under dedicated CRI 90+ lighting. Ambient 3000K downlights and a soft cove overhead keep the room warm while case interiors read cooler and brighter — a deliberate contrast that makes gemstones sparkle against the backing.

Production followed standard factory discipline: drawings approved before cutting, a pre-production sample in seven to ten days, custom casework in thirty to forty-five days, and KD or fully assembled shipping from Guangzhou, with spare parts, lock hardware and reorder support after handover.
