Necklace Display Case

A necklace display case program delivered in China in 2022: one mall island of roughly twenty-five to forty square metres, built for a chain that sells gold necklaces and pendants as its lead line. The brief asked for a store that could be read in one glance from the mall aisle — curved counters, warm metal, and a lit focal point visible from every approach. Every unit came from our Guangzhou workshop.

The plan hangs on a signature element: a lit cylinder pedestal in white, topped with a black stone deck and a curved glass dome, carrying display busts for necklaces inside. These focal stands sit at the island’s centre and entry corners, one necklace to a dome, glowing against the aisle. Around them run two curved island counters in rose-gold metal over white casework, a tall showcase closing the back, and a hammered silver metal wall that ripples the light behind the whole set.

Merchandising leads with necklaces. Chains sit on white busts under domes — the necklace display customers see first — while pendants and short chokers hang on busts inside the curved islands, four to six per run under glass. Bracelets and rings take the tall showcase at the back on fluted trays, and one-off pendants sit singly on the cylinder stands, one piece alone per dome.

Materials hold the warm scheme throughout: rose-gold metal frames and trim, white lacquer casework, black stone decks, low-iron glass in narrow profiles, and white busts under every dome. The hammered wall gives the single texture note. Case lighting runs at 4000K against a 3000K mall aisle, with LED strips inside the cylinders to float the domes above the floor.

Delivery ran the factory route: cylinders wired and diffused, domes moulded and fitted, busts matched and packed in sets. The island installed in a single fit-out in 2022. Sample in seven to ten days, production in thirty to forty-five, shipped KD or fully assembled from Guangzhou.
